We are Evelina and Marc-André – your hosts at Casa de Ladera.
A few years ago, we decided to move to Spain and create a place where guests could enjoy peace and quiet, nature and the unique atmosphere of this region.
Our History
For many years, we commuted between Germany and Spain. In September 2025, during a short break, we discovered the village of Iznájar with its impressive reservoir and typical Andalusian way of life.
Even on our first visit, it was clear to us that this place was something special. The view across Andalusia’s largest reservoir immediately captivated us.
The decision to choose Casa de Ladera
After viewing several properties, we sat together one evening in a local bar and looked back on the day.
In truth, the decision had already been made long ago – the Casa de Ladera had won us over from the very first moment.
A few months later, the sale was finalised and we took the plunge, moving from Germany to Andalusia.
With great attention to detail
In January 2026, renovation and refurbishment work began around the house. There was much to renovate and refurbish both inside and around Casa de Ladera.
Drawing on our experience in holiday rentals and the hospitality industry in Germany, and with the support of our family, we were able to gradually transform the house into the place our guests enjoy today.

Our aim is for our guests to feel at home from the moment they arrive.
Casa de Ladera is designed to be a place where you can unwind, enjoy nature and, at the same time, discover the diversity of Andalusia.
Its central location between Málaga, Granada and Córdoba makes Casa de Ladera an ideal base from which to explore Andalusia.
